MLB Post Season Forecast

The 2013 Major League Baseball is headed towards the play-offs!
While all the tickets in the National League are given out already, it is still unclear who will take the 2 wild card tickets in the American League.

Here is the League Standings as of 27th, September, 2013

American League

Boston, Detroit and Oakland have sealed their tickets to the post season coming first in their division, the interesting thing is how Tampa Bay, Cleveland and Texas are all tied or 1 game break away from getting one of the two division wild card tickets. We will have to wait and see until the final game to see which two teams will take the tickets. Tampa Bay are up against Toronto who is coming last in the division whereas, Cleveland has Minnesota and Texas against LA Angels.

National League

All post season play-off tickets are sold out in the National league with Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals and LA Dodgers securing their tickets coming first in each respective divisions East, Central and West. The interest note in the National league is how both wild card tickets were given to the runner up and 3rd place in the National league Central division, Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds. Central league proved to be one of the toughest division in the league this season with all three teams (St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati) finishing the season with 90+ wins.

Post season is starting from next week! it will be another exciting year of baseball and another moment of history to remember.
